Case detail — 3 products

Selected work, in detail

Three products where I owned the frontend: a clinical platform in daily use by 100+ clinics, fintech dashboards for financial professionals, and a client site built from scratch on Next.js and Strapi.

Clinical platform

Charting, imaging and scheduling for a healthcare platform used by 100+ clinics and thousands of daily users.

What I did
  • Owned features end-to-end — requirements, design, implementation and production release — working across product, design and infrastructure.
  • Refactored and scaled the charting, imaging and scheduling features for reliability under daily clinical load.
  • Improved UI performance by 35% with memoization and list virtualization.
  • Implemented dot-phrase shortcuts and predictive inputs to reduce clinical note entry time.
  • Built and standardized large form workflows on React Hook Form and React Query.
  • Added Jest and Cypress tests across critical paths and cut production build time through CI optimizations.
  • Adopted Next.js App Router, Server Components and Suspense to improve initial load performance and SEO.

Fintech dashboards

Payment-adjacent workflows, transaction dashboards and financial data UIs — led as associate team lead.

What I did
  • Led frontend development across fintech products built with React and Next.js.
  • Promoted within 8 months in a high-growth startup for unblocking teams and mentoring 6–10 developers.
  • Boosted delivery speed 30% with standardized boilerplate and shared component libraries.
  • Drove short- and long-term roadmap decisions, trading off business priorities against technical foundation.
  • Refactored architecture to hooks and TypeScript to reduce technical debt across the codebase.
  • Worked directly with clients on requirements and demos; implemented keyboard navigation; tested with Jest and Cypress.
  • Enforced quality standards with ESLint, Prettier and component-level testing.

Gurkha Royale

A UK client site built from scratch on Next.js with server-side rendering and a Strapi headless CMS.

What I did
  • Built the site end-to-end in Next.js with server-side rendering.
  • Modelled and wired content through Strapi so the client can edit without a developer.
  • Set up GitHub CI/CD for deploys.
  • Hosted on Amazon Lightsail with assets managed in S3.
